PVC Roofing Membrane
PVC Roofing Membrane is a single-ply roofing membrane designed to create a continuous waterproof barrier over the roof structure.
The membrane can be supplied with polyester reinforcement or in other constructions according to application requirements. Adjacent sheets are typically overlapped and joined by hot-air welding, producing watertight seams without relying on traditional liquid adhesives at the joint.
Its combination of flexibility, weldability, weather resistance, and chemical resistance makes PVC membrane suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial roofing projects.
Product Highlights
Excellent Waterproofing
Creates a continuous waterproof layer designed to protect the roof structure from rain and moisture.
Heat-Welded Seams
Hot-air welding forms strong, continuous membrane joints and helps create a watertight roofing system
UV & Weather Resistance
Designed for outdoor exposure, with formulations available for resistance to UV radiation, weathering, and temperature changes.
Flexible Material
PVC membrane offers good flexibility and can accommodate different roof layouts and details.
Chemical Resistance
PVC roofing systems can offer resistance to a range of chemicals and pollutants, making them suitable for certain industrial and commercial environments.
Reflective Surface Options
Light-colored PVC membranes, particularly white membranes, can provide high solar reflectivity and may help reduce heat absorption by the roof.
Available Types

Reinforced PVC Roofing Membrane
Contains a polyester mesh or scrim reinforcement layer to improve tensile strength and dimensional stability.
Unreinforced PVC Roofing Membrane
A flexible PVC sheet without a reinforcing mesh.

Fleece-Backed PVC Roofing Membrane
Features a nonwoven fabric backing that can help with adhesion to compatible substrates.
Customized to Your Requirements
Thickness, width, length, color, reinforcement and packaging can be customized depending on product type and order requirements.

Installation Methods

Mechanically Fastened
The membrane is mechanically fixed to the approved roof substrate using suitable fasteners and plates. Adjacent membrane sheets are overlapped and hot-air welded.

Induction Welded
Induction welded systems offer similar performance to mechanically fastened systems but use specially coated plates and an induction welding tool to secure both the membrane and insulation.

Fully Adhered
The membrane is bonded to the appropriate substrate or insulation using a compatible adhesive system. Seams are then heat welded.

Ballasted System
For suitable roof designs, the membrane can be installed as part of a ballasted roofing system.
